More problems with poor little bike..

Basicly i tried to turn her on with no luck. Thought at first it was getting no petrol (and to be fair the petrol pipe did look suspiciously dry.. ) but when i pulled out a spark plug and tried again i saw no little flick of light..

Pulled out another.. same thing..

So Now my spark pluggs arnt.. Sparking..

What (In order of.. seriousness/price) Could be up now?

no, check battery

yes, check plugs are seated firmly in caps

does the starter spin,

if no, resolve starter issue, relay is best place to start, get fozzie to put a screwdriver over both terminals and it should spin, starter is fine, relay or switch is problem.

engine fires by getting signal from crank so needs to spin to fire.

starter spins on button, but no spark,

change plugs for new ones.

still no spark

suspect coils (follow plug leads to big things, these are coils) coils change battery voltage into high voltage for spark.

so far you have checked and confirmed, that starter, plugs and battery are all sound.

Just thought it was funny they'd all go at the same time..

I am thinking coils aswell.. damn.. Seam on of the most expensive bits to buy!

Just to throw in.. Even with the choke on it sounds like shes trying far harder than before to get going.. Like theres not alot holding her back almost.. higher noise than normal

Jin, how does the Kwak safety cut off work.... does the bike normally spin but not fire,

suzukis don't do anything so its easy to go straight to that,

if the kwak spins but not fires when the kill switch is down, start there.. (hondas are like this..), just ask Mr Miller....

Dumb question... how are you testing the spark plugs? They won't just spark in mid-air, they need to be grounded somehow. Try touching the metal body of the plug to the engine and try again. (Keep out of the way of the hole the plug came out of... you might find there's petrol getting into the chamber after all!!)

Was leaning them against the frame but will try again the engine..

Worrying thing is if its not the spark plugs..
