Brno GP anyone?

Some mates and I are looking into riding over to the Czech MOTOGP weekend this season and I was wondering if anyone else is going or has been before and has any tips on a good route, sights, good nights out, places to stay/accomodation etc and just some general advice really.

None of us have done a tour before but we are all really up for a bit of a lads holiday topping it off with watching the racing and maybe getting a couple of laps of the Nurburgring in on the way at some point.

hi rich there is 5 of us going over to the czech moto gp this year on the bikes were never done it before so should be good for a laugh were going for about 9 days leaving the 10th aug so if you go and come a cross a group of five one big fat bald fella say hi to us rgds stebbo

Think we are setting off on the 11th and making our trip around 7 to 8 days (got to be back for the girlfriends birthday on the 19th... more than my life is worth ).

We'll have to meet up for a beer or something.

hi rich the beer and something sound good by me beer is cheap and don,t think you have to pay much for the something not in the czech were got four nights booked in hotel just out side brno so load of time for beer lol rgds stebbo

We're still not sure whether to go down the hotel or camping line. We will do hotels en route but still not sure about the weekend. The hotels in Brno probably get booked up fairly early I imagine.

hi rich you got any up date on your trip to the czech gp , were going to have a run round the ring on the way down so i have just been told so were have a night near the ring on the 10th and do the ring on the 11th then another 300 miles or so stop for the night then run down to brno rgds stebbo
