looking at a fazer in particular but talking in general.

Im guessing its a lot more than just taking the fairing off.

What does it entail before i jump in head first.

Take off fairing, replace headlight/headlight conversion...etc..

if the bike is faired then you need to consider what is behind the fairing, some bikes don't suit the naked look, i.e. Mk1 GSXF,

also you will need brackets to mount anything that was attached to the fairing brace, such as horn, winkers and headlight, also the mirrors..

done well it can look good, but done badly will look like a rat..

one of the girls (Skittles) on here has one with a twin headlight (speed triple) conversion..

I can't even put a shelf up let alone naked a bike, so I'd just jump in and buy a naked Fazer if you were thinking of one.

Here's mine btw (bought as a naked bike).....

I thought all you had to do was drop it on it's side.....

That's what most of the naked-conversion owners I know did!!!
