Hmm I could do with some trousers but how much protection do you think they will offer? Doesn't say any of it's waterproof either.

Same goes for the helmet, though that would have to be to EU standards right?

ALDI is a big company and all their gear is to EU standards - as for waterproofing Nikwax spray (or similar) will do the job.

Don't forget they do some nice chocolate raisins and they often have some good beers too; Hobgoblin, for instance and some of the seasonal Bateman's beers!

To keep on topic, those boots do look like a reasonable second pair!

I will definitely get a pair of trousers as I ride in my normal jeans now Also could do with a pair of boots instead of my work safety boots

Lol I didn't check when this sale starts and I just went to my local store to find nothing But as the weather is beautiful I just had a great ride Even got 2 nods but out of 6 so the score is not perfect lol

Having bought them before i'd say they are suitable as a second pair as they lasted me maybe a year as the main pair i used. So not great, but at least they didn't go wrong in less than 6 months like the RST Vortex 2 boots - for £80! (almost 3x more expensive)

I don't think these Aldi ones provide the level of physical protection or the longetivity that i'd want for every day use on my feet/ankles though.
