Guest Mr Miller Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I know batteries & battery health have been done to death...and will no doubt be brought up again......but I have a couple of questions......My battery has a stumpy breather pipe, this attaches to the long rubbery tube (yes, these are valid technical terms!) that vents somewhere to the rear of the centre stand, therefore, do I need to remove the filling plugs from the battery when I put her on charge?I don’t have any high tech gadgetry attached to my bike - is it really necessary that I disconnect +ve & -ve cables from the battery when charging?Sorry if this is a reprint but I can’t seem to find any definite answers! Stu Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 you will be fine to trickle charge it while still connected and wont need to remove the plugs that pipe thingy you speak of is an overflow just incase the fluid boils over and is a breather too Quote

Don't forget, I was probably in my teens at the height of her fame! I remember almost collapsing in a big, messy heap when I read that she used to do her housework naked!!! Quote
