skikman Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 my lights are dim and only brighten up a bit when you rev.i put on a set of spots and a 55w bulb in the headlight but they are still dim.could it be my battery as its smaller than the original.everything else works just fine Quote
Pete Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Battery smaller than the original? Sounds odd, so check that first. Check the battery number in the manual or dig about on Google for the specs.Failing that check for a bad earth.Failing that...what's this about a set of spots? If they're switched off is the headlight OK? Quote
Stu Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 battery wont affect it once the bike is started it will run off the charging system check the charging system if i was you you may not be getting a good charge when at idle Quote

Guest Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 how have you wired in the spots? from the headlight or from the battery through a relay and switch..?and if from a relay, where did you get the feed wire,?could be you've created your own problem... Quote
