BoB3rt Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 just a quick question... can you use a range of baffles for a brand of end can of does it have to be from the same brand? also when adding a baffle can u make it road legal depending on the baffle you use? cheers Quote
TC Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Never really thought about it. Most baffles are designed for a certain exhuast's sizes and different types of securing methods, Circlips or Threads.TBH if your going to get a baffle get the right one saves a load of hassle later on Quote

BoB3rt Posted April 26, 2010 Author Posted April 26, 2010 I was thinking of leaving the baffles out, but i am a bit of a novice at the minute and recently passed so rather not draw attention to myself.I have a Blue Flame end can, but it is niether marked as road legal or not. At the minute it has no baffles in, but i would like to put some in to reduce the chance off being tugged by the plod.I read on the Blue Flame site that all there end cans are road legal, so i can only presume this is ment by them using removable baffles ? anyone know this?i am going to email them and enquire about it, and possably see if i can get a replacment. If not i would like to get a universal one and as you've said one that fits to reduce problems. Thanks for the advice up to now! Quote
Guest Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Well id assume its road legal with them in and not with them outbut they are removable for a reason Quote

Indeed they do, did not see that bit thanks. Except i have the feeling this is only for the products displayed on the site... i have an older style can. Never the less i will give them an email anyways Cheers ! Quote
