Guest Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 hello, just wondering if anyones used rain away on their visors before?my dad and brothers use it on their cars and it works brilliantly, how is it on the old visor? and good or a waste of time?im just applying it as i write this. Quote
Guest Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 A few on here swear by it, or similar products. Quote
Guest Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 Do not apply car specific products to a visor. Like RainX .Only use helmet specific products, these will not damage the visor. I use ... *pause whilst I go in other room to find it*RainCote .. available from all good motorcycle retailers.... Quote
Guest Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 it said on the instructions that it can be applied to windscreens and visors.so hopefully itll be alright Quote
Guest Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 s'alright then ...don't want no melted visors now do we Quote
asharin Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I use Pledge on the outside, rain beads off nicely Inside, fairy liquid rubbed in, stops it misting up..needs re-applying every 2 weeks or so. Quote
