Hey guys.

Just noticed that after I turn the bike off, there's a little bit of petrol dripping from one of my carbs onto the crank case. Not enough that there's any smoke or anything, but obviously I don't feel particularly comfortable with petrol being outside of the engine.

The guy I bought the bike off took the carbs apart to do some work before I picked it up, so obviously my thinking is that either something needs tightening or a gasket's not in place properly or something, not sure what though.

Anyone with more knowledge know what it's likely to be?

And is there any danger at all of there being a fire whilst I'm riding? I rely on the bike to commute.

Or, the float (holed) or, the float frame been bent slightly (easily done), or a seal missing. Strip and check - easy job.

Dripping fuel not normally a fire risk - ask any Old Bike rider!!! But, should be sorted - don't leave it.
