the "dashboard" bit on my scooter (aswell as the bit that goes down from that.. all the black bits that can br seen on this pic http://images04.olx.com.ph/ui/4/89/29/6 ... n-City.jpg which is not mine, its pulled from the net) has faded wuite badly, so instead of being black, its now grey. Is there anything I could do to make it black again? (bare in mind, it has no cover so is out in all weathers)

Cheers.

Edit: was thinking shoe pollish, but think that will come off too easily

try armorall or bumper spray, but some can be greasy, or try the black coloured bumper polish, apply with lint free cloth and buff off, but you will need to apply on a monthly basis.. or as and when washed..

I find just oil on a rag can help a lot! Engine oil or WD40, whatever :)

True. Am already looking at easy "do it yourself" ways of getting out deep scratches from fairings etc. Also, already looked at halfords website... I have just done the 40 minute ride into plymouth today (dont want to use duel carrage way as everyone does 80 and my max speed downhill is around 50..) and dont want to do it again in the near future.. Am having a look for the cheapest place which will deliver lol.
