Bike meet at Oakerthorpe, Nr Alfreton, just off A38

Anyone know if there is still a bike meet here, and on what night?

I used to have a mate who lived in Alfreton, and I remember him saying something about a place at Oakerthorpe, but I never actually managed to get there.

Anyone know where exactly it is or when it is?

yea there is a meet there but cant remember which night, i think willow knows, if not sandra does

No idea when it is but I think the pub is called "The Holly Bush", just down the road from the hostelry my Uncle ran for some time.

I have been told that it gets inundated by local muppets in their chavchariots though!

It's thursday nights for bikes.. usually lots of boys racers there as well - not sure how many if any will be about at this time of year!
