djiceman Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Has anyone got any advice when upgrading the headlight bulb? i.e. whats the best theyve tried etc.I was out riding last night and noticed it didn't seem very bright infront of me lol. Thanks for your help Quote
JimiB Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 on either side of the headlight theres to bolts holding it in place loosen them up and angle the headlight more down torwards the road. This worked with me. as my high beams did not illuminate the road at all . But after doing this it was all gravy. Quote
Guest Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 you can change the bulb, a fresh bulb will be brighter, and some better than others, but if you go budget, you will get budget light, Bike Mag had a write up on this a couple of months back..be careful changing the angle of the headlight, is it may dazzle other road users of fall short of where it should be, Haynes Manuals give a good guide for headlamp set up. Chrissb6 Posted June 3, 2010 Posted June 3, 2010 I would suggest an H.I.D Upgrade, nothing comes near them for lighting up the road Quote
