Loud Noise and Leaking Gearbox

Hi, heres the situation:

I took my bike to a garage to get the Chain replaced including the sprockets. I also had my clutch done as it was slipping (they replaced a plate). All was fine for a little while until I started to hear a tapping noise, quite fast paced.. eventually this grew into a now LOUD noise, it can be heard over my bike while it is turned on, and my bike isn't the quietest of bikes. I was informed that the noise was more likely a loose washer or such on my bike or possibly in the exhaust by the same garage and that I should take all the panels off and investigate.

I was going to do this until I noticed an oil leak from my gearbox today! (left side of my bike) any clues what it could be?

I wouldn't do anything, return it to the garage with its faults for them to recify, as its there cock-up
