Phil_D Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Well my battery loses charge very quickly and i think its come to the end of its life. I *think* the battery code is YTX9-BS, is there anyway to check this? On my current battery most the code seems to have rubbed off! If that is the right code can i buy ANY YTX9-BS battery? such as http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NUMAX-YTX9-BS-CTX ... 255b48814c ??Thanks! Quote

Phil_D Posted June 14, 2010 Author Posted June 14, 2010 Ya pays ya money, ya makes ya choice ...... Entirely your call phil. Yeah but im a bit confused as on ebay they have a lot of YTx9-BS batteries and some of them say they are for different bikes As long as its a YTX9-BS battery it should fit my bike right? Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 the same battery will fit several different bikes hence why they are listed like that Quote
Fozzie Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Use Wemoto, they will have a few options for you to take For your bike:http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Honda/CBR_600_FY/00/And the various batteries...http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Honda/CBR_6 ... gh_Torque/http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Honda/CBR_6 ... ery_Nitro/http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Honda/CBR_6 ... y_Pattern/http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Honda/CBR_6 ... ery_Yuasa/I reccomend either of the top 2, they last far longer than any of the other batteries I have posted here! (Dan), the 9-BS is the size and ampage, that will fit your bike and battery box, many bikes share the same batteries, much like your TV remote taking AAA or AA, Quote
