how long to pass?

i was just wondering how quick have people completed there mod1 nd2test on here?id love to pass before winter gets here!as i looked at a bike school and they recomend 2x3 hr lessons for mod 1and the same for mod2?is this enough for most people?

That's about what I had, although I also rode around on a 125 for a few weeks. If the school have assessed your riding and have advised that amount, I'd say go for it. Worst case is that you may end up needing 1 or 2 more sessions, but your instructor should be able to advise if you're ready for test.

Sounds a bit short on the mod2 road practice,

But maybe your faster on uptake than me.

Mates son is doing a 5 day res course in Yorkshire wknend after next,

Thats cost £650 b.b included.

I've be told the same, got my first 3 hour session on a 500 on sunday, they said it'd be more related to mod 2 i.e road riding just to get me used to the bike. The the second 3 hour session will be slow speed stuff for mod 1. All going well and I have another 2x 3 hour sessions for mod 2. Think I get pre-test training as well. Not sure what my final costs will be though.
