Hi guys, can you help. Bandit 650 s k8, at 40 ish mph the handle bars will gently wobble by about 1 inch, (not a vibration), back and forth from left to right. You only see it if you have a really loose grip. At about 55 to 60 it seems to go, and over 60 solid as a rock. Below 40 nothing also.

Don't know if its tyre, or wind or something else.

Bike is new to me and it does have a new front bridgestone.

Advice is always welcomed please :)

i know what you mean, i had that feeling on my bandit6, turned out to be a slightly deflated tyre and worn head bearings, cheap fix and brought the bike back to life. Its an un-nerving feeling so get it sorted before the summer "thrash" in the sun xD

Another vote for steering head bearings. Had the same problem on my Bandit and it was this- especially noticeable if you take your hands totally off the bars.

.................. would a steering head bearing be warranty on an 08 bike ? might be worth checking with your local dealer.....
