Guest Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I am planning a 4 night stay in corsica and need some advice on good areas to stay in, either with a bit of nightlife or close to some amazing roads, hotels which are biker friendly (relatively safe parking) and most importantly which roads to ride.Any help however small will be much appreciated as i am finding it hard to find biker related info from websites. Many thanks! Guest Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 are you looking at a pre-arranged thing or self organised?type "motorcycle corsica" into google..gives you some pre-arranged tours, which are helpful for what to see, and what can be seen in the time allowed.. Quote
rennie Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 have a look on holiday truths.co.uk or similar Quote
Guest Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 We are based in Nice so I'm doing a self organised thing for me and a friend which is why im so in need of help. I know corsica is said to be amazing on a bike but having read up a little bit i am beginning to get worried its more for enduro/tourer bikes...(translap,tiger etc..) rather than sport/road biased bikes. I am reading about single lane mountain roads with pot holes, not exactly ideal!!! But im sure there not all like that. Thanks for your suggestions ill have a look now. Quote
archiec Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 seem to remember a program on TV with Rick Stein on Corsica where he got his Land Rover nicked so make sure bike is secure and locked away apart from that it looked great. Quote
