2fast2soon Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Just to make sure, you aren't buying it to wear in this country are you? DOT approved is only for America, you need the ACU approved for over here. I think its going to be tough to find a stockist as most helmet buyers will want it to be UK legal. Quote
Bertie Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 why specifically choose a potentially unsafe helmet? Quote

2fast2soon Posted July 3, 2010 Author Posted July 3, 2010 I'm sure for impacts to the top of the head, they are safe (if not legal for this country, that's your choice though). If you crash and skid on your front then you are going to have serious face injuries: shattered jaw, shattered teeth, skin on nose worn off or nose ripped off, cheeks worn down/off (since cheeks are fleshy , that's for the benefit of a different topic). Full face offers more protection and yes, I am a little warped in the head to think about all that then think about what's for dinner, hmmm ham sandwiches maybe.I do like the look of the Nexx X60 Vintage Blue Magnetic White though, wouldn't buy one as I like my chin and nose, but it does look "reeeal purdy"Almost forgot, unless you have something covering your face, you'll be eating flies wherever you go, yummy!
