I will be going along with my mates to Mallory Park on 13th July.

They are going into the intermediate group, and I'm going into the novice group.

I am going to check all the bolts and screws on my bike to make sure nothing comes loose.

All fluid levels are good, and water wetter is in my coolant.

Going to bleed my brakes, check tyre pressures.

Also going to remove numberplate, tail tidy, indicators.

Also been told to cover my speedo up do it doesn't distract me.

Anyone else got any tips.

Also does anyone if I can wear a mirror'd visor on the track

you can wear any visor you want, just tape up lights etc and speedo.

most of all just treat it as a laugh, go out and enjoy yourself. speak to the tyre guy as you will need to drop your pressures a bit, i run 29/30 ish front and rear but depends what tyres you use.

It looks so much better without the road kit on.

Had a great day, apart from the rain at 2pm which meant I was too scared to get back on the track.

But all in all, I was overtaking a KTM RC8, a Ducati, A ZX10R, ZX7R, R1, etc, all the big bikes had nothing on me, especially going round Gerard's where I just pinned it open and hit 100mph.

Excellent pics! You were just down the road from me!

I've riden from the entrance to the paddock, so I've ridden the track a little! not all the way round though!

I'm not happy with the pics tbh, but my mate has taken some pics and videos of me going round Gerard's corner which is where I was at my lowest

Looks like you had fun, good pics. Im guessing the bike is derestricted, so got the full 33bhp? as cant see the 15bhp overtaking an R1 on the straight bits. Was it expensive?

Its running 31hp. Most people were overtaking me on the straights, but Mallory only has one main straight, so when it came to the corners I was able to keep my power on fully and overtake.

It was £89 for the trackday, and cost chipped in with 2 mates for van hire which was £30 with fuel, and £15 petrol for the bike.

It was well worth it, and I am itching to do it again
