Guest Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 can anyone help i have a suzuki maurader 125 gz and i am having a little trouble with her when you are driving along she completely loses power and cuts out a couple of times when it does this i thought i,ve heard a bang as well someone told me i need a new carburettor but they are 345 to buy so anyone any ideas before i fork out a lot of cash if thats not the problem it always starts first time after it does this Quote

supersapien Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 i had a similar problem on my suzuki. turned out the rubber inlet manifold had a crack in it. was letting too much air in it. happened randomly dependant on temp as the rubber expanded and shrank Quote
Guest Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 well troops well chuffed got my bike back nothing to do with carb it was the stand everytime the bike would go over a bump the stand was that loose that it was hitting the switch under neath and was cutting out so the wee guy in rhu put a washer on and welded a nut on and she is going like a dream yee ha Quote
