now i could rant on about ideas to keep my ZX6R and things to do to it, or get track bike etc...

Or show you the bikes am intrested in and get some personal opinions - everyone likes to vote :D

I have just seen for the first time a 600 in repsol, i would assume there few and far between...but given the choice i think i would go with the triumph..especially with my love hate relationship with cbrs!

There are loads of CBR's in repsol colours.

Just depends what floats your boat. Do you like race reps or not?

That aside. I would suggest you test ride both bikes and see which you prefer. Sod what anyone else thinks. Its which you prefer.

You can get a daytona for 4k ?

Biketrader is saying closer to 5k!

Id choose the 675, apparently has a good strong engine (lots of torque) and handles real well.

Plus your probably better of comparing the cbr600rr than the normal cbr

Also, i prefer the newer r6's look than them two, dunno why just like it lots. But the 06 model has no midrange from what i hear, so looking at 2008?

I vote Triumph. Its a better looking bike, and as said, i hear the engine is better. Well, its more CC, so its likely to have more torque/power...

As far as Repsol goes...

You are not a race rider.

This is a road bike.

The roads are not race tracks.

You don't see race replica cars driving about (certainly not more than once or twice anyway).

Lots of decals to ruin if you fall off :P

I tend to be leaning towards the Daytona myself if anything because they are not every other bike you see on the road (like the CBR)

but at the same time i do like the CBR's and enjoy the repsol colours:

with regards to the colours :P having a bike all together i suppose is being a bit diffrent - at least in britain.

and you dont see many cars with more than one colour but plenty of sports bikes do even if they aren't race replicas eg. my ZX Green/Purple

so i see what you mean its not going to be on a track or raced (as such) but... it's to be diffrent and it looks the shiz! :)

anyways, i just figured that if CBR's are so popular there must be a reason. Am realy just trying to way up all the pros and cons without personal prefferances such as looks and colours.

ie handling, reliable.... and the best way is usually peoples first hand experience.

the comment of the cbr not having as much middle caught my attention and the fact the daytona has a strong engine again has swayed me to looking further into the trumph :D

plus having the extra power from a 675 might be a nice step up.

still will the cbr hold its price more? parts easier to get etc ?

few daytonas about for just over £4k.... quite alot on a popular auction site

keep em comments coming! even if it is just ... " that bike looks nicer " haha
