Hey have an mot coming up at the end of the month and my forks are slightly rusty. will this affect the mot?#

so possibally. If its just surface rust i would get some kurust to get rid of it and do a bit of touching up and it shouldnt be noticable, just incase. Well, that plus it claims one it is used it is not rust anymore so u shouldnt have any problems.

NO, do not kurust them, just polish them

as long as they aren't pitted you should be fine, but metal polish (autosol) and tinfoil will bring them up a treat. (scrunch the foil and use with the polish, )
