Hi everyone

I'm in Welling, Kent and wondered if there were any bikers nearby that could help me get into the biking seen.

I've only had my 125 for a couple of weeks but have already crashed it my fault as well dooooooooohhhhhhhhh so I am

waiting for the repairs to be carried out but I'm hoping to make friends here and take some ride outs and find out if there is any where like ace cafe near me.

Sorry to hear about your off. Plenty of places to meet other bikers - depends on how far you're prepared to ride. Most local to Welling is the Oakdene at Wrotham. Ryka's at Box Hill Surrey is always busy - but may be a bit far on your 125 if you're just finding your biking feet. Cafe on the old A2 just after Bluewater also. Maybe join a biking club if you're serious?

Am I allowed to ride on the A2 my wife said I wasn't. I don't drive a car so I'm really not sure on the ruling for this.

Thanks again for your help I'm going to look into a biking club right now.

Depends how large your wife is Barry!!!

A2 is ok but no motorways. If you're still getting into it I'd stay off the fast roads for now, so that you can build confidence slowly. Take it steady mate. Say hi if you see me around - dark green Honda VFR. Cheers Doug

I will keep an out for you like wise if you see a fat bloke on a marauder 125 give us a wave.

When I get the bike back if you ever fancy a ride around with a slow 125 give me a shout.

Im from Sidcup and I always see alot of bikes, but they are always either "big bikes" going at Mach3 or 50cc 16 year olds in their Mckenzie Tracksuits and T-Shirts....

Would be nice to meet a few of the people on here....

I ride a 125 myself, don't know anyone in the area who rides but I know people still meet occasionally by Blackheath Tea Hut....

Some nice routes near the Weald & they're not too far. Wish you'd all get some 'proper' bikes though lol. What bike do you ride?

Im back at last so if anyone fancy a bimble sometime give me a shout. I only have a 125 dj as well so I wont be to fast for you for sure. Maybe a little to slow its a marauder and Im a fat bloke so its not really fast.

wugzie Im hoping to get down to doing my tests in the new year now. After my accident its dendeted my ego and knocked my confidence a little so Im sure having to go slow over the winter will build this up again for me ready for the test next year.
