craig Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 just took my back wheel out and noticed the sprocket is a bit worn yet the chain has alot of adjustment left in it can you just change the sprocket or do you need to change both and chain ? any thoughts Quote
Guest Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 just change the sprockets if the chains ok, but if you can get the full set for not much more than the price of the sprockets then do them all, i paid 75 quid for a DID set. from price busters Quote
Guest Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 better to change as a set, looks like they the chain was changed without sprox last time.. and if the rear looks like its going the front will do too...try wemoto.com.. Quote
Stu Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 your supposed to change the lot together as they wear together the chain would cause premeture wear on the new sprockets Quote
craig Posted August 26, 2010 Author Posted August 26, 2010 cheers don,t mind buying a new sprocket for now and would change all three when chain is fully adjusted did,nt see the point in changing the chain if its ok for now Quote
Bill_on_a_bike Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 You got money to burn go ahead, surely cheaper/simpler to just do the whole lot now, then you know where you are. Quote
