changing brake pads suzuki marauder gz125

Right time to change my brake pads in my marauder but how do you do it I've watched a video but my caliper looks nothing like his mine only has one piston if it helps, cheers.

undo it dale. Loosen ya fluid cap then ease ya pads apart and take out the old ones then put in ya new ones. Quite easy really mr winton

haynes maual, allen keys, sockets and some copper grease and new pads.

theres a pin (allen head, No10) which holds the pads, and 2 bolts (No15) which holds the caliper to the forks, undo all whilst still attached (its easier) then remove caliper, push piston back and remove pads.

replace with new pads, which have been greased on the back, and fit back over disc.

replace nuts bolts and allen pin, and do up tight.

pump lever to return pads to disc and then push the bike forward and press brake this will help to bed them in..

take it easy and use brakes often to settle everything in..

Cheers guys, was planning to do it today. Opened my package from wemoto and they have sent me the wrong pads for a 505 kawasaki??

check them against your could be they used the same caliper,.... it happens.

I have and they looking nothing like mine it wasn't seeing seeing the name Kawasaki that put me off, It was because these are round and mine are rectangle

is it possibe that they changed calipers for different years of the bike?.. i know with cars if your motor was on a changover year ordering parts could be a nightmare as sometimes they had a mix of old and new... if not ring wemoto up and explain as i have had good dealings with them and they always help

looks like it was just a stores mix-up,

They have realised their mistake after trying to tell me they were exact, they have refunded me the cost of the brake pads and sent me a new pair for free!!

New uns came today after a couple of teething problems got them changed such a good feeling cheers guys.
