hammer5 Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I did a nooby thing and reversed the bike with the wheel lock still in resulting in cracking the fairing; thankfully its just the surface paint and not the actual plastic. Albeit this was a few months ago so yesterday i thought i will get some Aprilia paint and do a touch up job... Easy? after research it appears Aprilia will not release the paint codes So....... I thought ok women of the 21st century have all these colours for there fingers, i will try some nail varnish - until i can find the codes.. :WTF:I sent the boss into town to get some "Orange" nail varnish with a photo of the colour i needed! She came home with the exact colour, so i was well pleased, cleaned all the fairing down and applied the nail varnish! This is the before shot.http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/download/file.php?mode=view&id=7079&sid=2194a1eba55eec07bdf7941c56400d30And this is the after shot..http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/download/file.php?mode=view&id=7080&sid=2194a1eba55eec07bdf7941c56400d30Its a good job i don't work in either A. the cosmetic industry or B. in the respray industry!!! At least it will stop it getting worse and i can always wear some pink leathers lolAll i need to do now is get the colour scheme from somewhere :lame::lame:BB Quote
