How to fix your cracked fairings - or not as the case maybe

I did a nooby thing and reversed the bike with the wheel lock still in resulting in cracking the fairing; thankfully its just the surface paint and not the actual plastic. Albeit this was a few months ago so yesterday i thought i will get some Aprilia paint and do a touch up job... Easy? after research it appears Aprilia will not release the paint codes So....... I thought ok women of the 21st century have all these colours for there fingers, i will try some nail varnish - until i can find the codes.. :WTF:

I sent the boss into town to get some "Orange" nail varnish with a photo of the colour i needed! She came home with the exact colour, so i was well pleased, cleaned all the fairing down and applied the nail varnish!

This is the before shot.

Doesnt matter if you have the colour code anyway, I've found out to my expense that hardly anyone makes it up properly anyway
