ENGBen Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I have decided that i am going to put in the effort now and pass both my bike and car tests by the end of the year. The car test is the most useful of course (job wise) but I decided to put the majority of my efforts (and money) into passing my bike test first seen as i already own a motorbike. So yes, my first ever theory test is booked for the 29th of March 2011.I have one of the latest CD rom training aids which will teach you both bike and car theory. But i was wondering....If you have the ability to pass the bike theory test, do you think you have the ability to go ahead and pass the car theory test straight away?I mean the highway code is the same right (except the section just for motorcycles).Any other advice or tips? Why not do a few of each test to see how similair/dissimilair they are Good luck with it! Quote

They are very similar, except one section asks questions specific to the motor vehicle. I reckon you will be fine to pass both straightaway. Quote
