Braved the forecast and went out for a wee ride.

Was about 85miles, and was ok. Roads were quiet enough that for the most part I was able to pootle along at my own pace without having to worry about holding anybody up. This also meant that it took me ages :

The forecast caught me out on the way home :|

Gloves, boots and jacket were fine. Textile trousers are not waterproof at all without the liner in them (which i chose not to put in as it was roasting and humid out)

On the plus side, the torrential downpour washed most of the splatted bugs off my visor :D

Good stuff, I like to ride in the rain everyonce in a while to get the bugs off too as I normally can't be bothered lol

Sounds like a fun ride!
