Nogin Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 I have a caberg Justissimo GT Lid, it coming up to 4 years old and I have noticed that the visor top seal is split and when it rains it leaks. Any ideas for a repair or is it new lid time. Quote
scanty Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 sure they recommend changing the lid every 5 years, depending on use. is it worth forking out on bits and pieces for a helmet which should really be changed soon? Quote
Nogin Posted June 6, 2011 Author Posted June 6, 2011 No sure with new lids, I know the old ones you changed every 5 years.Anyhow, I emailed caberg and Canerg importers in the UK and got no reply. So I popped into the garage I got it from and they checked their spares lists.bad news you cannot replace the visor seal so Ill be looking for a new lid in October. Quote
scanty Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 October? Do you do much winter riding? If not get it added to the Christmas wish list! Quote
Colin the Bear Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 Sticky back foam or rubber or a piece of draught excluder. Have a look in the DIY shop or a halfords type shop. Quote
Nogin Posted June 7, 2011 Author Posted June 7, 2011 Colin I did try that but It would not stick, kept peeling off. I guess its new lid time, its not a problem really. Quote
