evening bikers, if i am having probs with my bike periodicly failing to start, then when it does, it only runs on a full choke, am i best just to replace the carb, its a 1994 cg 125 honda, am at my witts end trying to get to the problem, i have faith in my fellow bikers to advise and guide me, thanks all ,and safe biking :cheers:

well there's obviously something wrong with the fueling somewhere!

I'd do the simple/cheap stuff first!

clean carb make sure floats and needles aren't

sticking, make sure fuel lines aren't blocked,

make sure air and fuel filters are clean, check any rubber

diaphragms aren't perished, put new fuel in.


do all that then get back to us :lol:

thanks for the advise ian, am not a mechanic but am not stupid either, so i will try all that you said,

i dont have a manual, but the carb is only small so as long i make note of what goes were, i should be ok, it wont be till sunday, so i will keep you updated, and a big THANKS again.
