hey jon, if your planning on sticking around say hi in the "newbies" section

I am not sure how to fix the problem, but there are many helpful users on here for if you decide to stick around :)

round about 30. but it does not pick up. I can normally get up 50 quite quickly.

Thanks.

You mean the YBR has power in 4th in the first place

You could start with the spark plugs, although I am only guessing.

Does it work fine in all other gears? Can it get above 4th and then pull?

Is the gear selecting properly? Is it slipping in differently to other gears?

Or alternatively your fuel injection could be up the shitter in which case you will be needing a new ECU.

Or we could get really simple if the answer to my first question is no... How loose is the chain? How dry is the chain. Tell me in CM how loose the chain is.

Poor engine performance may indicate a service is overdue.

Is 4th top on this bike? You may be in 5th.

Could also be brake dragging , clutch slipping, underinflated tyres, sudden rider weight gain 8-)

to be honest my YBR does the same sometimes, i cant get the revs past about 8000 in 4th gear when it should hit red at about 11000, and can carry on going to 13000 (i think) which is a pain as you kind of have to thrash the nuts off it if you want to join the duel carriage way, and want to do over about 60mph...
