JamieK Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 on my sv people who have seen me riding have often said my front suspension looks very soft..im guessing you adjust by turning the screws on the top of the forks but how much do i turn and what difference will it make?any help would be appreciated Quote
megawatt Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Screw the pre load adjusters in to stiffen the suspension. If still too soft, back off preload to minimum, remove top nuts and add 30cc of fork oil. That usually does the trick. Quote
JamieK Posted June 12, 2011 Author Posted June 12, 2011 ok thanks its it just a case of adjust the screw bit by bit until you feel happy? and do both the same amount Quote
megawatt Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 You should set your SAG to the optimum setting for your bike. Do a search on SV Forum for SAG setting??? Quote
JamieK Posted June 13, 2011 Author Posted June 13, 2011 had a quick look.. that looks confusing Quote
