Swiss Rolls Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Had to ride up to Kirkby Steven on Friday, came back Sunday. My route went up to Kirkby Lonsdale, then the road to Sedbergh, and finally Kirkby StevenI had heard a out devils bridge but had no idea where it was, so was a happy coincidence I passed through, got a bacon butty early Friday morn, was pretty quite like, which was deffinetly a good thing with the nice quite roads Sunday afternoon on my way back though was a different story, I know that is when everyone goes but I didnt expect so many! The lay by where I stopped off on my own a few days earlier was filled with hundreds of bikes, was an amazing atmosphere and was some really really nice machinery there. Had really good blast around both times I was in the area and not only did I enjoy it so much I forgot to take pics, but I am positive it improved my riding, the way back was much smoother, and faster I would recommend any new rider (a good few months, and confident on their bike) who's bike is loosely aimed as a sportsbike to get up there and see what you think Enough of my first time excitement, I know it's a VERY popular place and most people reading this, it will be nothing new to you, if so then can you please inform me when is the best time to go, which are the best routes and other general banter Quote
