Isnt there a local friendly bike shop that could assist you in your quest?

im sure there is...but thought it may be a god idea of a thread fully listed of places where to get cheap parts for future reference....

you know for when i bin it again....

Nowt like optomism(?)...repeat "you will not bin it again"

My local shop where I get all my stuff done took mine when I binned it, gave me 3 quotes, all new bits ,some new bits and then one just to basically get it road worthy so I could use it.

£1100-£200!

Obvious choice really!

had a call off my dad earlier and because he has bugger all to do with his time he has cut and welded bits back together and melted the plastic to make it go together better

he says it all looks ok, so may just need a coat of paint and a new clutch lever and ill be back
