armyash Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) I have my theory test in the morning, i have done plenty of revision all week and am getting 48-50s on every test i do so feeling confident. I have done plenty of hazard perception practice too and am passing every time but i'm still not feeling good about it. I have watched the dvd and done loads of online practice but i'm not fully happy with when i should click as the instructions confuse me.Is it only the main hazard that i click on? ie click just before it happens then more as it develops?OR.... do i click for every potential hazard? vehicles approaching?, Junctions?, pedestrians?I have already passed the hazard perception for my car licence so don't know what i'm worrying about really lol just always feel as though i have passed due to luck more than anything. If someone can give me a 100% correct answer i'd be very happy and feel a lot more confident for the morning Edited July 23, 2011 by armyash Quote
sparkeh9 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 don't click for developing hazards, click when they actually ARE hazards Quote
Theboyparker Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 As said when I did mine it said to click once u spot a potential hazard that could develop into a hazard and then when it becomes a hazard. Work for me anyways good luck Quote
crowther7689 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 I passed mine first time last week, and agree with the above. I clicked about 8 times per clip. Learn what to look out for. In towns, zebra crossings, cars pulling out, in the country, cars coming round bends. Round about people changing lanes etc. The only clip where the hazard was unexpected was sheep jumping out into the road haha.Click when you see a possible hazard, click when it becomes a hazard, and click just as the brakes come on. That's what I did and got 55 I think. I got 0 on the double hazard. Sheep caught me out. Quote
gmac Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 when you see the Hazard click it then click it a sec later so it deffo pics it up as when i done it with the practice cd rom sometimes you see the Hazard and click but its to early for the test to recognize it - My instructor also told me this Quote
Bogof Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Is it only the main hazard that i click on? ie click just before it happens then more as it develops? Do NOT click for a potential hazard, do NOT click 8 times per "hazard". The software contains a "cheat" algorithm and clicking multiple times can result in that clip not counting at all due to "cheating".If you read and follow the intro they tell you exactly what they want to qualify for a pass. Click on a DEVELOPING hazard. It's that simple. And don't relax after the sheep.... there are more to come! Quote
Katie Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 There's an explanation clip you can watch before you start which I suggest you watch as it will answer you questions. Quote
