Snetterton 300, 2 day Trackday September 28/29th

I am doing this trackday in September. It's on a Wednesday and Thursday with a hog roast and camping included. It's £140 all in for 2 days!!! You will have to join this club for £20,www.omcc.co.uk, download application forms and pay soon. The last time I checked there were still spaces available. Would be nice to see some of you guys again, even as spectators???

I'll support this one and say please please please go, last I heard they were thinking of cancelling 'coz they still had 70 something spaces left.

There's a reasonably large contingent going from the school I'm at and I'm considering asking if I can tag along with my camera

Chatting to the guys about this this afternoon and apparently it's about 99% going ahead now. Said I was toying with the idea of asking them if I could tag along with camera and one of the guys turned round and said "There's 8 of us going from here. I'll ask the rest of them but if you're prepared to give us the photos of us afterwards we'll all chip in for your accommodation costs. We're used to paying £30 each for photos of us so if it's only a tenner each we're up"

dont be daft, there will always be someone slower than you on a track day.

focused events have actually sent someone home and refunded them and told them its not for you as they were that slow....that wont happen to you so just go for it

I've seen some slow people corner so you cant be any worse. i spent the day at donington taking pics with a mate and there were some horrendous people, one guy had to get on the power before the apex he was going that slow on a brand new gsxr600 and then one guy on a fjr1400 who was loving it scraping everything round the bends just looked like he was loving it. just goes to show its not what you got its how you use it.

get one booked, you wont be the slowest by a long way, and its the perfect place to practice cornering.
