now i know that speedometers naturally over read but after a lond distance journey on the way home my speedo started telling me i was off the speedo doing about 85 mph (speedo goes up to 70). now bearing in mind i'm on a 125 that was pretty impressive. especially as i wasnt even in the red! (My bf was riding with me and his speedo was reading 65)

i know that if the pin wobbles or stops reading the cable has snapped but i have no idea what it means if it just randomly over reads. :?

The error isnt too bad at low speed. ie at 30mph it reads just a touch over 30mph as it naturally should. however at higher speeds it is reading waaaaay over!

any ideas?

thanks :D
