KSmith Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 now i know that speedometers naturally over read but after a lond distance journey on the way home my speedo started telling me i was off the speedo doing about 85 mph (speedo goes up to 70). now bearing in mind i'm on a 125 that was pretty impressive. especially as i wasnt even in the red! (My bf was riding with me and his speedo was reading 65)i know that if the pin wobbles or stops reading the cable has snapped but i have no idea what it means if it just randomly over reads. The error isnt too bad at low speed. ie at 30mph it reads just a touch over 30mph as it naturally should. however at higher speeds it is reading waaaaay over! any ideas?thanks Quote
