Guest philgale Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Im not, but good luck with redgate, fooking can't get that corner, try about a millions lines round there and none work rest of the track is mega, craner is out of this world, flat out all the way from redgate to the old hairpin then its only back off a bit then back on it again, so fast its scary Quote

Last time on my bike I tried to go round it in 4th instead of 3rd and ended running out of talent, and track. Also spun my car out on redgate, just too much of a corner after that straight. Quote
Guest philgale Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Last time there i couldn't carry any speed through, and still was running wide. its weird. time before that tried to get on the power too much too early and ended up 3ft above my bike landed back on the bike and lost it in the gravel, since then i hate that corner they should of left it dug up Quote

BoB3rt Posted September 30, 2011 Author Posted September 30, 2011 ok bit delayed but here it is:Started off ok, but most of the bends are so misleading... look tighter than they are! ... redgate looks sweeping but is quite sharp to start off with.I was off the pace all day though just couldnt seem to get my braking points down, easing of the throttle before breaking. Craner was great best part of the track and by far my quickest section. i had alot of problems with the hair pins especially the first one, i would constantly run wide on the exit regarless of running wider into the bend?! I think i was a little tired for the day hence poor breaking and even corner speeds. had a few hairy moments but hey thats why i do it... but the worse was after going under the bridge by craner and you squeeze left before the right hander, roughly about 110mph, some idiot runs on the outside of me clips my bike and take my brake lever off!! not a sorry, wave, kiss my arse... nothing!! by the time i settled the bike down and noticed my brake was not there he'd f**ked off !.... still am fine and alive, hes still an arse however. sure he didnt mean it but still.... so new levers (smaller) on the way and caldwell park is booked for 20th oct. heres some pictures from donny though: Quote
