mealexme Posted December 4, 2011 Author Posted December 4, 2011 It was when water got into the electrics and it kept shorting out. Was stuck in tesco overnight and still didnt dry out lol and if its still really bad, ride around with main beam on and not just dipped dipped are more useful because on full, it tries to light up the road ahead but isnt powerful enough, but on dipped its concentrated to just infront of the bike so you can actually see more on dipped lol. Its not just my ybr either because people say the same when I was looking up about bulbs on other forums Quote
Nogin Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 this may fit? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HEADLIGHT-BUL ... 424wt_1112 Agree with Stu, a 55w is still better then 35W, worth a try with out haveing to rebuild the electrics. Quote
XmisterIS Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I went through all sorts of ideas of how I could upgrade my 35/35 bulb when I had a 125 - whichever way you look at it, it will be a pain in the arse. Easier to take your big bike test and get a big bike, IMHO! Quote

Fozzie Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 When I fitted a higher wattage bulb I took load off elsewhere so that the overall shift was that less power was being pulled from the battery So LED tail light, indicators and side light all fitted and I worked out now I'm drawing nearly 2 amps less from the battery.
