Remy Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 I want to get one for the Gladius but am not sure whether to get a 33l or 46l size - I don't need it for putting my helmet in, more for carrying other stuff. The bigger one would be useful for putting more things in obviously but would it look too big on the bike or affect it's handling (not that I ever go that fast lol). Without seeing them in the flesh it's hard to decide - does anyone know of a stockist in the W Mids who does a good range? Quote
techno Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Dont know a stockist but go for the big one, you never know when you may need the extra room. And no to me it doesnt affect the handling at all, I keep reaching back to see if its still there even fully loaded. Quote
megawatt Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Yeah, go for the big one Gill. Just don,t overload it. Quote

Hi Gill, Bassetts in Howard place,Shelton, stoke on trent, have a range of givi's on display, they would probably even let you check out the look on the bike, best deals are probably DK in Newcastle ( -u-lyme), but they dont display, my topbox thats usually on is a massive 52L?, but if i were you , i'd still go for a larger size rather than smaller, the 42 L are suposed to hold 2 full face , handy if u go somewhere and need to secure helmet, and extras,,,,,,,,as myriam said, theres no prob with excess weight, unless Tesco shopping 3 full carriers can produce a light front end Quote
techno Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Yeah, go for the big one Gill. Just don,t overload it. Lol sometimes it just happens Also youmnever know when you just might have to stick a lid in it always better to have that option. Quote
Remy Posted December 26, 2011 Author Posted December 26, 2011 Thanks all, think I will go for the V46, the B33 just looks a bit too small! I usually carry all kinds of rubbish with me and it would be good to be able to fit the helmet in as well Quote

Guest Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 While I did not find too much good at the recent NYC Bike Show last week, I did come across a New to Me product; Coocase I had mixed emotions on this product. The keyless entry/lock was cool. The S48, their largest case was slightly smaller than Givi's largest case, The E-55 Maxia 3Both have Brake Light capabilities, color matching panels and interior linings, but most of this is standard on Coocase and optional on Givi. I liked the stay up lid feature on Givi much better and at first I also though the Givi was made better as in stronger, but upon careful review, they both look about the same though the weather seal on Givi should out perform / outlast Coocase, but I won't know that for sure until its put through an extreme weather event. Perhaps someone can add their experience with rain penetration on the Coocase. Having owned the Givi's I know for sure its rain tight. The thing that really puts the Coocase over the top of Givi is the price. Twisted Throttle sells this case fully loaded with the mounting bracket for the ST at $299.99. We all know how expensive Givi is...at $600 + shipping it's up there in price. Quote
