giocast Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 You need to find a convenient 'hole' in one of the inlet ports between carb and engine - hopefully there will be a plugged hole in the form of a screw in all four inlets that would normally be used for checking/balancing carburretors - you might need to obtain a threaded hollow junction tube (usually brass) if it doesn't come with the 'kit' (matching the thread of course). You can then use this to attach your flexible vacuum supply tube. Quote
Guest Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I have recently fitted a V-System to my VFR. The Vacuum tube on the VFR is located on the right hand side under the petrol tank. As yours is a Honda it might be in the same location or close by Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 as others said there should be a screw in each of the inlet rubbers between carb and engine you would remove one screw and replace it with threaded section that should be supplied with the oiler kit Quote
megawatt Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Or you could tee into the vacuum feed to the fuel tap? Quote
giocast Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Or you could tee into the vacuum feed to the fuel tap? wouldn't do that myself - them vacuum petrol cocks cause enough trouble on their own if left standing. Quote
megawatt Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Never had a problem myself and the tapping is already there? Quote
giocast Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Never had a problem myself and the tapping is already there?glad to hear it - do you mean the tapping is in the manifold or the fuel tap? Quote
Raym Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 Thanks GuysWill check it out in the morn Quote
megawatt Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 There,s already a tapping to the cylinder head and a tube to the fuel tap. Put a tee piece in and fit it to the oiler. Quote
