ticking coming from the engine

can anyone help me with this one? i can hear a ticking coming from the engine it seems to be coming from where the startermotor is the ticking dose not speed up when i rev the engine iv check all the nuts they are ok so im thinking is it a electrical problems the bike is Z750s on a 56 plate

If its under warranty m8 just take it back bud :wink: Dont fiddle as it could invalidate ya warranty :shock:
i well be getting it done under the warranty if it covers it but i want to know whats up with it first so i can tell them as they well just say the is nothing wrong with it.

hmmm have u changed ur down pipes or had them off lately... if they aint been fitted right u get a slight tinny sounding tic when engin running which is kinda like the exhaust blowing on a cat.

it was the exhaust got it sorted now :lol:
