Throttled Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Bought Nov 2011 from J&S in Hamilton for about £65 in a sale. http://shop.hostettler.de/SupplyImages/WF015/L_X41001-003.jpgGOODEverything, seriously! Fit, finish, comfort, price, waterproofness, armour. They are less bulky that my first attempt at winter gloves, but still warmer than them. I have had two hands first onto rocks/tarmac with these gloves with no damage to them at all. BADNothing. NOTEI have ended up with a medium sized pair. At the time of trying them on I found all other glove makers has me as a large or even XL with Alpinestars. So the Swiss (IXS is a Swiss company) must have massive hands! Quote
Throttled Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Update, these gloves are superb. I have been touring in appalling rain and they stayed dry. The drawstring works well as I do not need to try and tuck the gloves under my jacket sleeve, just pull the string and they tighten so no leaks. Best was their performance when I had to put very wet hands into them, then rode for an hour in very heavy rain and found my hands had dried out. The gortex lining clearly works very well. Quote
