I have just upgraded the exhaust on my ninja zx6r 2000 model. I have also put a k&n filter in it. Is it worth upgrading to carb jets as I have been told the bike is running lean. The guy who is going to fit them used to work on racing bikes and the people I have spoken to alsace recommended him. I don't want to be taken for a mug basically. Cheers

Your thoughts would be appreciated

if its not been put on a dyno you wont really know if its running lean

and if you are upping the jets it will need setting up on a dyno so its right as you may need to alter needle height too

you cant guess these things

I mean the bike is twelve years old so it must be worth doing it to preserve it etc etc. plus the guy who had it before me never really took for a good outing if you know what I mean

Yes its worth doing but it wants doing right which means you need dyno time and not someone going by smell
