takes clean air from the air box to the exhaust to improve the emissions result.


i'm going to have away with it, cut and bung the pipes at both ends


shouldnt have any ill affects because the pipe to the exhaust is after the cat


several forums says it improves throttle response at low speed

did this to my bike years ago 8-)


to be honest it doesn't make a lot of difference

noticed a small difference at low revs, it chugs less around 4000 rpm and bogs down less at about 5000-6000 rpm when you open the throttle
