Ninja84 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Right then i am currently running a set of michelin pilots on the front and rear on my zx6r 2000 model. I am looking for a new set of tyres as they are starting to round off and i have a track day looming in the future. So basically the pilots are going to be sh****ed after that day. Im not bothered about price i just want good value for money and the performance that matches it.Front 120 x 65 zr17rear 180 x 55 zr 17 Any help would be appreciated Thanks Quote
littlecat Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 round off???? round is a good shape... did you mean square off? Quote
TC Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 It all depends what you are going to use the bke for.track days - sticky tyre loads of grip but wont last as longTouring/daily use - 2CT (compound tyre) Not as sticky but will last longerhere's the michelin guide to have a look athttp://www.michelin.co.uk/motorcycles/o ... ype=type_2all other tyre companies have guides as well if you have a favourite maker Quote
