Guest Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 hey guys sorry i aint been in touch just been away working, anyway hows you all, i came back to the offer of a txt pro 280 and after a test drive left with another bike. it seemed real good but once home i have started having trouble with engaging into first gear. i suspect its the plates as all other gears are good. whats your oppinion. im away for another 3 weeks but should have wifi to keep up to date with the forum, advice please Quote
Tango Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 First thing would be to check the adjustment of the clutch cable, etc. Oil levels and so on. If all that is OK it could be bent or damaged gear selector forks. I'd start with the easy stuff first....then look at gearbox strip once all that is exhausted..... Quote
