Hi Y'all,

I'm new here, so hi!

I've just got a questions about the law changes ,3 DLD, coming into force in January next year. Will the actual Module 1 and Module 2 tests actually be any different? If they are, does this mean I'd be able to do Module 1 before the law change, and Module 2 after, but still have a license with all the benefits of receiving my license before the deadline?

The reason behind my question is this; I am only 16 and I do not turn 17 until Mid- December, and I'm currently studying A-Levels. If I have to be both Modules before the deadline, I'll only have one week over winter to do an intensive course before I'd be back at school.

I'm planning on doing my CBT within the next few weeks, and taking the theory test prior to my birthday too.

Hope you can help me out!

Cheers

Just get yourself booked onto a 3 or 4 day A2 course starting on your 17th birthday.

School should have prebooked tests so no stress there. Also, should you fail either module, you still have time for a retest.

No, if you do mod 2 under the new rules and mod 1 under the old rules, you get a new rules licence.
