chris_589 Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Hi all,so passed my DAS in july, got my nice new shiny hornet and a week later came off on a bend.Bikes fixed and im back out on it when the weather allows, but im nervous when i go out on the fun twisty roads thinking im going to stack it again.solution to this i reckon is some further training, got a dvd on police riding techhniques which helps but i think some more tution will help more.Any one able to recommend a course in the manchester area? cheersChris Quote
Rebel Rach Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Have a look at bike safe. Not sure it's really tuition but having recently completed das you shouldn't need much instruction just a few pointers and some confidence. I Quote

Only cost £30 but my confidence in cornering is much improved, and I'm probably safer too! Well worth it if you can get on one. Quote

Freefloater01 Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 I did my DAS with these guys (link below) in Stockport, Rob owns and runs it, Neil was my instructor. Neil is a bloody great instructor, no bullshit, a spade is a spade kid of bloke, hugely experienced and knows how to get across to you what you need to do. I passed my Mod 1 and 2 in the space of 4 days including training and other than having done on my CBT nad a Get On day had not sat on a bike in 15years, I credit Neil's level of instruction to getting me through so quickily. Rob is also a very good Instructor he did my CBT.By the way I'm the lanky git on the Blue Kawasaki (picture 3 in the slide show)http://www.rjhgroup.co.uk//url] Quote
