Guest Hodgy
I did call a local shop and they said they would never recommend changing sizes and told me the previous owner probably put those sizes on the bike because they are more common and a lot cheaper. Can anyone tell me if the two tyres, I have linked above will match ? The tread pattern on the rear tyre looks very different to the front but i am unsure if that is just because the rear needs thicker tread. No, the second tyre is an enduro/off road tyre, always try and keep the same make and type at both ends
jamesd1981
I have tried hodgy, I don`t know if it is because my rear tyre is an odd size, but every where i have looked i can`t find a matching pair with my sizes Edited November 24, 2012 by jamesd1981
mattycoops43
I had conti go on my Xj, they grip quite well but wear out fast. Don't skimp on tyres, they are the only thing really in between you and hospital time!I have michelin Pilot road3's and love them.
